Yahxiyahu Xi-Amaru, the ARNA Minister of Education, is dedicated to reshaping education for Indigenous youth and adults. Under his leadership, the Ministry of Education focuses on holistic, culturally-grounded learning that fosters self-determination and leadership. 

Guided by the Indigenous Empowerment through Holistic Education and Cultural Reclamation Act, Yahxiyahu ensures that education serves as a tool for empowerment, emphasizing community-centered restorative justice and Indigenous knowledge systems. 

His efforts are geared towards creating personalized Indigenous Education Plans (IEP) that honor each student’s unique path to growth.
