The “The Indigenous Education Reclamation Act BILL  #MC15110-0019” is a pivotal bill introduced by the Aboriginal Republic of North America (ARNA) to transform its educational framework.

By embedding Indigenous knowledge systems, holistic health, and leadership training into the curriculum, this bill aims to preserve cultural identity, foster youth leadership, and ensure community-centered education. It supports self-determination and aligns with international Indigenous rights, making it crucial for the cultural revival and sustainable development of ARNA’s youth.

Pressing issues with solutions

Solution: Establish mandatory Indigenous Knowledge Systems programs and Indigenous Language Resource Centers, providing funding for language immersion from early childhood.

Solution: Integrate Holistic Health Programs into the curriculum, including education on traditional healing, nutrition, and wellness, alongside dedicated Holistic Health Education Days.

Solution: Develop a Leadership Mentorship Program with guidance from ARNA elders and experts, and host annual Youth Leadership Summits to empower youth in governance and community problem-solving.

Solution: Implement Restorative Justice Practices in educational settings, creating Restorative Circles to resolve conflicts and promote community-building.

Solution: Introduce the Indigenous Education Plan (IEP) framework that incorporates individualized learning pathways using traditional knowledge, Cartomancy, and astrological insights for holistic development.

Solution

The Committee Elect(s) on Economic Development and Resources shall allocate Community-Driven and Alternative Funding Approaches to support this Act. Funds shall be distributed as follows:

● Indigenous Language Resource Center(s): (See Tab-3 of this bill).

● Holistic Health Programs: Provided by the ARNA Education

● Leadership Development Initiatives: Small percentage of revenue from ARNA-affiliated cooperatives or enterprises, voluntary ARNA Leadership collaborative efforts.

● Restorative Justice Programs: Sponsored by SAR Law Associates.

● Cartomancy Integration: Sponsored by Indigenous Cultural University, Partnerships with Nonprofits and Foundations (i.e. *Florida Impact)

● Scholarships and Financial Aid: Partner with small/large businesses within ARNA and community to sponsor specific activities. (Also using ARNA Edu Fall Bill 15108 as template)

● Administrative Costs: Sponsored by Crown Pro Realty Group, Crown Pro Group Land Development vocational development & Youth Mentorship arm for Yamasih Region 3 Hawwab Shariq & ARNA Education

 

Financial Oversight

The Ministry of Education shall submit quarterly financial reports in full compliance with government protocols to the Committee Elect(s) on Economic Development and Resources and the National Executive Cabinet of ARNA. These reports shall provide a detailed breakdown of expenditures, program outcomes, and recommendations for future improvements. All submissions must adhere to established financial reporting standards, including transparency, accuracy, and timeliness, to ensure proper oversight and alignment with the economic and executive branches' objectives.

Solution: Align the educational reforms with the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), ensuring compliance with international standards for Indigenous self-determination and rights.
